By downloading or using Garcon, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The Service

Garcon is a restaurant discovery app that provides personalized recommendations, dining history tracking, and reservation availability information. We use third-party booking platforms (Resy, Tock) to surface availability — we are not a booking platform ourselves and are not responsible for reservations made on those platforms.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be 13 years of age or older to use Garcon. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt our systems or servers.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the app.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

Restaurant Information

Garcon aggregates restaurant information from multiple sources. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of restaurant details including hours, menus, prices, or availability. Always confirm details directly with the restaurant before visiting.

AI-Generated Content

Recommendations and responses from the Garcon assistant are generated by an AI system. They are intended as suggestions, not professional advice. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations.

Intellectual Property

The Garcon app, its design, and its content are owned by Joshua Kulas. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

Disclaimers

Garcon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular restaurant will be available for booking.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Garcon and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Garcon at any time by deleting your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
